Today is June 24, 2024, and here are the key policymaker and stakeholder actions on AI you need to know: In Washington, the U.S. Treasury Department proposed a rule that would restrict outbound investments by American companies into sensitive technologies like AI being developed in China and other countries of concern. In California, a budget deal includes language to help state agencies access additional resources for generative AI projects.
