Across the pond, as the AI Action Summit kicks off today in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron suggested Europe is “not in the [AI] race today” and argued the continent must do better at securing financing for AI development. Meanwhile, the U.K. is hesitant to sign on to a declaration of shared AI principles under negotiation at the summit because the document currently lacks U.S. support.
