Today is December 12, 2023, and here are the key policymaker and stakeholder actions on AI you need to know: Days after a political agreement was reached on the EU’s AI Act, French President Emmanuel Macron is criticizing the agreement and the European Commission stated it will have the power to update AI Act rules over time to "keep pace with developments.” In Washington, the Government Accountability Office revealed that 12 federal agencies have not fully implemented the AI requirements outlined in federal law and executive orders. In Florida, a proposed bill would require political ads made with generative AI to include a disclaimer.
