JB Pritzker (D) signed a bill that restricts the use of AI tools to create child sexual abuse images and “prohibits the nonconsensual dissemination of certain AI-generated sexual images.” Bloomberg discussed efforts by state lawmakers to address concerns held by some that AI could cause job market disruption. In South Korea, regulators gave financial firms permission to use AI to develop new products so long as certain security measures are in place.
