Today is April 16, 2025, and here are the key policymaker and stakeholder actions on AI you need to know: Nvidia reported that new export controls on its H20 chips will cost the company $5.5 million. Vox published an article arguing the strongest case artists have against AI is that the advance of AI used with their art inflicts moral injury on them, meaning they are forced to violate their own values. Lastly, CNBC reported Scale AI is helping Qatar build AI tools for “education, civil service, contact centers, tourism, health care and transportation.”
